The PADI Open Water Course is a four-day, fun-filled course designed to qualify you to dive to a maximum depth of 18m.
The Course consists of 3 parts:
Part 1 Theory- you’ll learn about the principles of diving with the eLearning PADI open water course.
Part 2 Pool- you will complete at least five pool training dives under the guidance of a PADI Instructor. The pool training can take 1 or 2 days depending on the students` learning capability.
Part 3 Open Water- Once you have successfully completed Parts 1 and 2, you can move on to Part 3. This is the last part of the course and involves completing four open water dives in the sea to demonstrate your skills in a real environment.
After that you will be registered with PADI and you can start your adventure.
Due to the logistical planning of running a successful dive charter, dives cancelled by the customer within less than 48 hours notice will not be refunded. On the day dives will not be refunded if being cold, seasick, hungover, being tired is a reason for not diving. The same applies for not being able to descet and no shows.
NB!! Deposit for promotion packages will not be refunded. Only dives that have been cancelled due to launch conditions or for safety purposes will be refunded.
Please take note, Protea Banks is a Marine Protected area, therefore EVERY diver requires an MPA Permit. These are obtainable from any Post Office (Monthly or Annual) or for your convenience from us (monthly only).
