I booked a baited shark dive and when I got there I was told we’d be doing two reef dives. That was not what I booked and no one seemed... read more to realise the mistake. We were highly overcharged for a reef dive as the second didn’t even end up happening and when I was told I could do the baited shark dive the next day, I woke up to a message saying it was cancelled and I was not given an option to dive on a different day. Highly disappointed in the customer service and organisation by this company.

The rental equipment was in very good condition and well maintained. After the dives, everything is arranged to make you comfortable: access to hot showers, food, and hot drinks. They truly take care of their divers and make you feel looked after from start to finish. Michael is an excellent dive master and guide — calm, experienced, and very knowledgeable. He handled challenging conditions with confidence and professionalism. The dive conditions were not easy: strong currents, heavy waves, and wind. This is not an easy or beginner dive, but it was incredibly rewarding. We saw many bull sharks and blacktip sharks, and with some luck, you can also encounter hammerheads and tiger sharks. Overall, this dive is more suitable for experienced and advanced divers. If you are looking for a top adrenaline, sensational shark dive, Protea Banks with Dive In Adventures is absolutely the place to be.

Had my first ever dive in SA with Dive in Adventures while on a road trip. The waves and current were nice and strong, really liked the full set up! Had a drift reef dive (like 6km from Northern to Southern Pinnacle) and a drift baited shark dive. Saw a lot of sharks in both dives with good visibility. What a great experience with a very professional and a friendly team! Keep going and seems to me I need to return for the sardine run someday!
