What our clients say about us!

Diving with Dive in Adventures was truly unforgettable. I can’t recommend Patricia and her incredible team highly enough, every single person works so hard, and it shows in every detail... read more of the experience. The dive centre is unique, organised and an inviting space, it was such a pleasure to dive here. We had several dives planned with them, in total we did 12-13 dives, but during the first few days the conditions were so rough that no boats were allowed to launch. Instead of letting us miss out, Patricia went above and beyond to organise dives for us at Aliwal Shoal, which turned out to be fantastic. Her dedication to making sure we had the best possible experience meant so much to us. I’ll be honest, before diving Protea Banks, I was nervous. I had heard so much about the strong currents and how unpredictable it can be. But from the moment we started diving with Mike, all of that melted away. His calm nature, steady presence, and endlessly positive energy made me feel completely at ease. His briefings were thorough, reassuring, and enthusiastic, I always felt fully prepared. The boat crew, Kan and Rupert, are amazing, such a great group of people working seamlessly together, giving their absolute best every single day. Even when the currents were strong and we couldn’t reach the caves where the raggies had been sighted, we drifted along the reef where there’s beautiful life and eventually ascending into the blue where the sharks made their appearance. On our trip we encountered bull sharks, oceanic blacktips, schools of hammerheads, tiger sharks, ragged tooth’s, and silky or duskys (Mike and Lalo were trying to ID them). Every dive felt wild and special in its own way. Before the trip, we had talked about how incredible it would be to see schooling hammerheads, it was at the very top of our wish list. When it actually happened, it felt surreal. Pure excitement. One of those moments you’ll never forget. Thanks to the team’s determination and positivity, we made it to the caves and saw the raggies and it was so special. Being there with them, in that space, is something I’ll always treasure. Between dives, we were so well looked after, warm coffee, delicious biscuits, and honestly the best sandwiches ever! After the dives, there were hot showers, fresh water, and homemade muffins waiting for us at the dive centre. It’s those thoughtful touches that make such a difference. On our last day, Patricia organised a braai for everyone. It was such a lovely way to end the trip, sharing stories, connecting with like-minded people, and forming new friendships. We felt so happy and so well cared for that we didn’t want to leave. In fact… we only managed to stay away for two days before coming back for four more dives, with beautiful conditions and dolphins welcoming us back! Patricia, thank you to you and your entire team for creating such a meaningful and memorable experience for us. We felt truly looked after from start to finish, Lalo and I cannot wait to return 🩵🦈 lots of love!

January 18, 2026The dives with Dive in Adventures Protea Banks were a true delight. The dive site itself is the best I've ever dived in, and that, combined with the dive center... read more and the fantastic team, made it a huge pleasure for me and everyone else who dives there, as customer service is their top priority. The whole team radiates enthusiasm for what they do. I've never seen so many different sharks without having been baited. Dive in Adventures provided hot showers, even towels, and snacks as well. The latter isn't really common in South Africa. Thank you so much for this unforgettable time.

Had my first ever dive in SA with Dive in Adventures while on a road trip. They did not have any dives planned for the upcoming day I was there,... read more but they still found a way to make it happen. The waves and current were nice and strong, really liked the full set up! Had a drift reef dive (like 6km from Northern to Southern Pinnacle) and a drift baited shark dive. Saw a lot of sharks in both dives with good visibility. What a great experience with a very professional and a friendly team! Keep going and seems to me I need to return for the sardine run someday! Thanks for everything!
