The PADI Rescue Diver course will transform your diving experience in the best way possible. You’ll learn to identify and resolve minor issues before they escalate, gain confidence and have a lot of fun in the process. The course focuses on building confidence to handle emergency situations without putting yourself at risk. You will learn to recognize and manage stress in other divers, practice emergency management and rescue panicked and unresponsive divers both at the surface and underwater.

prerequisites
To enroll in the Rescue Course you need:
Be at least 12 years old.
Be an Advanced Diver (or have a similar qualifying certification from another training organization).
Be trained within the last 2 years for First Aid and CPR.
If you do not have a First Aid and CPR qualification, you can do the Emergency First Response Course with us.
Theory e-learning is done before water activities at the student`s own pace.
rescue course schedule
Day 1
9am EFR Course (Emergency first aid)
If you require the EFR course, it will be scheduled for the first day
Day 2
9am Knowledge Development
Discuss rescue scenarios & review theory.
1pm Shallow Water Skills Training
In confined water you learn the different rescue scenarios with a focus on process and situation management.
Day 3
8 pm 2 Open Water Skills Training
We will practice skills underwater and on the surface
On the dive boat you learn how to manage realistic, simulated rescue scenarios which will increase in intensity. Urgency and managing stress is part of the training.
